About Jack Edwards
Jack Edwards is best known for his long association with ESPN and the Boston Bruins. Edwards was an anchor on SportsCenter and a play-by-play personality with the Worldwide Leader in Sports from 1991-2003. He notably transitioned to coverage of the Bruins in 2005, working for two decades as the team's voice on NESN.
Edwards has always loved sports, as he was born in New Hampshire in 1957 and went on to play soccer at the University of New Hampshire. He launched his career in the field with his alma mater.
Staying in the area after college, he worked his way up at various radio and television stations in Manchester, New Hampshire, Boston, and Providence.
