About Henry Burris

Henry Burris is an American former professional football quarterback, who mostly played Canadian football in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1998 to 2016. He won three Grey Cup championships, two with the Calgary Stampeders, in 1998 and 2008, having spent 10 years of his career with them, and one with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016. He also played for the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats and spent time in the National Football League with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. Burris won the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2010 and 2015. At the time of his retirement Burris ranked 3rd in all-time CFL regular season passing yardage at 63,277 and 3rd in all-time CFL completions with 4,638. In July of 2020 he was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
