Gerard Warren

Gerard Warren became one of the best defensive tackles in the country during his days at the University of Florida, leading the Gators to an SEC Championship in 2000 and garnering Second-Team All-American and First-Team All-SEC honors during his junior season. In 2001 the Cleveland Browns selected him with the 3rd Overall Pick in the NFL Draft and he certainly lived up to the hype, recording 209 tackles and 12.5 sacks over his first three seasons in the NFL. In 2005 he joined the Denver Broncos and would go on to see time with the Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Patriots until his retirement in 2011. In all, Warren would record 335 and 36.5 tackles during his career while also forcing 7 fumbles and recovering 5. His best season came as a rookie in which he posted 61 tackles and 5 sacks in 15 games. Warren is highly regarded as one of the most consistent and respected defensive tackles of his era. He’s a leader and a team player, showing up at the field every day and earning his spot as a starter with the goal of team success always at the forefront of his mind.
