About Geno Atkins
Geno Atkins was a dominant defensive tackle for his entire career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Atkins attended the University of Georgia where he played for the Georgia Bulldogs football team from 2007-09. As a true freshman, Atkins played in 11 games and recorded 9 tackles and 0.5 sacks. Atkins was a backup most of his freshman year, but on October 6, 2007 he was named a starter. After his sophomore season, Atkins was named First-team AllSEC. The Cincinnati Bengals selected Atkins in the 4th round as the 120th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Atkins became the full-time starter for the Bengals in his second season and he led the team in sacks and assisted them to a playoff appearance.
