Gary Brackett Biography

Gary Brackett played his entire nine-year career with the Indianapolis Colts and remains an important member of the community today. Brackett worked his way up from undrafted player out of Rutgers in 2003 to reliable contributor at linebacker. In 2006, he was one of the team captains, collected 120 tackles and helped the Colts win Super Bowl XLI. Brackett continued to be a high-volume tackler and started for Indy as well in their Super Bowl XLIV loss to the New Orleans Saints. He retired following the 2011 season, publishing his memoir, "Winning: From Walk-On to Captain, In Football and Life," that year. He also went  into the restaurant franchise business in Indianapolis. Brackett has become an in-demand leadership coach and speaker.
