About Frances Tiafoe
Frances Tiafoe is a standout American tennis star who made his biggest mark at the 2022 U.S. Open, rising to the semifinals of the tournament. Tiafoe had a signature win to get there over Rafael Nadal. He also reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 Australian Open. Tiafoe's first victory on the ATP Tour came at the 2018 Delray Beach Open. Tiafoe was born In the U.S. to immigrants from Sierra Leone and was able to train at a USTA regional training center in Maryland where his father worked.
