About Fearon Wright
Fearon Wright is a former linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL. During his only season in the NFL, Wright played in seven games and had a total of 2 combined tackles. Wright was placed on injury reserve with the Vikings following a shoulder injury and he was released in 2002. After a break from professional football, Wright joined the Carolina Speed of the American Indoor Football Association in 2008. He played nine games his first year and collected 12 solo tackles, 11 assisted, 3.5 tackles for a loss and 3 sacks. In 2009, Wright signed a contract with the Mariners and in 2010 the Mariners resigned him. Outside of football, Wright spends his Mondays serving food and beverages to homeless women at a Baltimore shelter. He also makes time for the women and children of Sarah’s Hope in Sandtown-Winchester because of his mother who is his role model.
