Fabrizio Romano is an Italian sports journalist widely recognized for his expertise in football (soccer) transfer news and is considered one of the most reliable sources in the field. Romano began his journalism career at 16 and gained prominence at 18 after receiving insider information about then-Barcelona youth player Mauro Icardi.
