Evander Kane Biography

Evander Kane is a standout for the Edmonton Oilers. Kane began his NHL career when the Atlanta Thrashers selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He made the Thrashers that first year and scored 14 goals as a rookie. Kane stayed with the franchise until 2015, which was through their relocation to Winnipeg. He was then traded to the Buffalo Sabres where he played for three seasons. Kane had the best seasons of his career with San Jose, being named the team's player of the year in 2021.
