Carey Price has a long tenure as one of the best goaltenders in hockey for the Montreal Canadiens. Price debuted for the Canadiens in 2007 and became a starter later that season. He was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month for March 2008 and has never relinquished his starting role in net. The Canadiens have often been a top postseason contender during his career and Price is a six-time All-Star He had an incredible 2014-15 season, leading the NHL in GAA, save percentage and wins. Price became the first goaltender to win the Ted Lindsay, Jennings, Vezina and Hart trophies in the same season. He has helped Canada win gold medals at the 2014 Olympics and 2016 World Championships. Price went 10-0 in net across those two tournaments. The Canadiens originally selected him fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry. During his time in juniors with the Tri-City Americans, he was one of the most hyped goaltending prospects. In his final season with the Americans, Price won the Del Wilson Trophy as the Western Hockey League's top goaltender and was named the CHL Goaltender of the Year Award.
