About Eric Musselman
Eric Musselman has had a lengthy ride through coaching that has seen him coach at almost every level.Musselman is currently the head coach at USC.Before taking over the Trojans, he took Arkansas to three Sweet 16 appearances in five years.
Musselman's first college coaching job was at Nevada, where he posted four seasons of at least 24 wins. The Wolfpack won the Mountain West Conference in Musselman's last three seasons.
Musselman was in coaching for over two decades before entering the collegiate ranks as an assistant at Arizona State in 2012. He also spent one year as associate head coach at LSU to prepare for the head gig.
Musselman spent three seasons as an NBA head coach with the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.After guiding the Warriors to their most wins in a decade in 2002-03, he was runner-up for the NBA Coach of the Year Award.He also has been a head coach in the D-League, USBL, and CBA.
Musselman experienced his most success in the CBA, becoming the youngest coach in league history at 23 and finishing with a 270-122 record. In addition to his head coaching success, he also had several assistant coaching stints in the NBA. Musselman’s father Bill was also a one-time NBA and CBA head coach.
