About Elvis Dumervil
Elvis Dumervil began his career with the Louisville Cardinals only contributing in small doses until his junior season when he became a starting defensive end. Then in 2005, Dumervil broke through as one of the nations best defensive ends. On his way to Big East Player of the Year honors, Dumervil broke numerous school and NCAA records, including most sacks in a single game with 6, a record that still stands today. A unanimous first-team All-American, Dumervil fell in the 2006 NFL Draft to the 4th round where he was picked up by the Denver Broncos. Despite his smaller size, Dumervil was used as a defensive end for his first two seasons in the NFL, until in 2009 when he was moved to an outside linebacker role and led the NFL in sacks with 17. Dumervil left the Broncos and signed with the Baltimore Ravens in the off-season before the 2013 season. Dumervil was a five-time Pro-Bowl selection and two-time first-team All-Pro.
