About Ed Oliver
Ed Oliver is a defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills who was selected ninth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Oliver had an incredible three-year career at the University of Houston. He was the first five-star player to commit to a non-Power 5 school and he lived up to the expectations. Oliver was a first-team All-American each season. As a freshman, he recorded 22 tackles for loss on the way to being named American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year. He also became the first freshman to win the Bill Willis Award as the best defensive lineman in the country. In 2017, Oliver had a career best 73 tackles and won the Outland Trophy as the nation's best interior lineman. He was slowed by injury in his final year, but still was named to the All-AAC first team.
