About Ed Hochuli
Ed Hochuli is no ordinary lawyer; the attorney from Jones, Skelton, & Hochuli had a lengthy tenure as the NFL's most recognized official. It's not often that a referee is seen to be just as large, if not larger, than the players on the field. Hochuli, despite being an excellent official, is well known for the size of his arms while he's signaling calls. Hochuli began officiating in the NFL during the 1990 season and managed to be one of the most well-respected referees in the League. In a position that is usually under scrutiny, Hochuli has managed to earn plenty of confidence from players, coaches and fans throughout his career. This was reflected in Hochuli's selection to referee in countless playoff games and two Super Bowls. He retired from the game in 2018.
