About Drew Bledsoe
Drew Bledsoe is a retired NFL quarterback who spent 14 seasons in the league with the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills, and the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to his time in the NFL, Bledsoe played collegiately at Washington State, setting multiple offensive records during his three season career. At WSU, Bledsoe was a second team All American in 1992 along with being named Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year that same season. Following his great junior season, Bledsoe was drafted first overall in the 1993 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, immediately inheriting the starting QB role. In nine seasons with the Patriots, Bledsoe won two AFC Championships in 1996 and 2001, and served as a mentor to Tom Brady in their Super Bowl XXXVI victory. Due to Brady’s emergence, Bledsoe was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2002, where he would play for three seasons, earning his last of four Pro Bowl nominations in 2002. Bledsoe would finish his career in 2006 after two seasons with the Cowboys, ending with 251 touchdowns, and 44,611 yards.
