About Don Treadwell
Don Treadwell played his college football at the Miami University in Ohio from 1978 to 1981 as a wide receiver. During his college career he earned All-Mid-American Conference honors as a junior and graduated with a degree in physical education in 1982. Treadwell got his start in coaching as the offensive coordinator at Youngstown State University in 1986. After five seasons at Youngstown he headed back to his alma mater as the running backs and wide receivers coach from 1992 to 1993. From 1994 to 2010 he served as an assistant at Cincinnati, Stanford, Boston College, North Carolina State, Michigan State, Ball State, and Michigan before being hired as the had coach at Miami University in Ohio in 2011. Treadwell served as the head coach of the Redhawks for three seasons from 2011 to 2013. In 2014 he was named the running backs coach at Kent State University.
