About David Reutimann
David Reutimann got his start in racing on the dirt tracks of Florida and eventually earned a spot on the Slim Jim Pro Series in 1997. His first season he was named Rookie of the Year and posted eight top ten finishes. The next season he earned the series Sportsmanship Award and eventually captured three wins in the 2002 season. In 2002 he made his NASCAR Busch Series debut and went on to post 45 top ten finishes over nine years with one win at the 2007 Sam’s Town 250. In 2004 he joined the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and became one of the top drivers on the circuit, earning Rookie of the Year honors during his first year. He’d go on to and post 38 top ten finishes and win the 2005 Toyota Tundra 2000 from 2004 to 2012.In 2005 Reutimann got his start on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and became a solid performer on the track, winning the 2009 Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte and the 2010 LifeLock.com 400 in Chicago. Since joining the Sprint Cup Series he has captured 26 top ten finishes and four poles in 235 career races.
