About David Culley
David Culley is former the head coach of the Houston Texans. Culley was hired after a tremendously successful four-decade-plus run in coaching at the college and NFL levels. He is best associated with Super Bowl champion coach Andy Reid. Culley spent over a decade on his staff with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs as wide receivers coach. Prior to arriving in Houston, he spent two years as the assistant head coach, wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. Culley got his start in the NFL as a wide receivers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1994 and also spent time coaching the position for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His coaching coaching tenure began as a graduate assistant at Austin Peay in 1978 and he went on to have various roles at six over universities, most notably, his alma mater Vanderbilt and Texas A&M.
