Dave Revsine Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Dave Revsine got his start in sports broadcasting after earning his degree from Northwestern University in 1991. During his time at Northwestern he became a sportscaster at WNUR Radio and eventually went on to play basketball at Trinity College in Dublin while attending on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. After college he became an investment banker at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York. Eventually his love of sports drew him back to sports casting and he landed a gig as a sports anchor in Sherman, Texas. He’d go on to work at a CBS affiliate in the Quad Cities before being hired at ESPN in 1996. During his first ten years at ESPN he served as a reporter and host on such popular shows as SportsCenter, College GameNight, NFL Live, and Outside the Lines. He also did play-by-play for college basketball games with ESPN and ESPN2. In 2007 he left ESPN to join the Big Ten Network as a lead studio analyst. A true journalist, Revsine published his first book “The Opening Kickoff: The Tumultuous Birth of a Football Nation” in 2014, which became a New York Times and Boston Globe best-seller.
