About Darryl Talley
Darryl Talley played linebacker in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings from 1983 to 1996. Prior to heading to the NFL he played his college football at West Virginia University, where he earned Consensus First Team All-American honors in 1983. During his college career he recorded a school record 282 unassisted tackles to go along with 484 total tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, and 19 sacks. His performance would earn him induction to both the West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame in 2008. During his time in the NFL he was a two-time Pro Bowl and NFL All-Pro selection while recording 38.5 sacks and 12 interceptions. His accolades also include being presented the Ed Block Courage Award in 1990 and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Distinguished Serve Award in 2000, which he considers one of his most prized accomplishments.
