About Clyde Drexler
Clyde Drexler is one of the 50 Greatest NBA Players of All Time and is one of a select group of players who are two-time members of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. After three seasons at the University of Houston and back to back Final Four appearances, Drexler was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers in 1983. After 12 successful seasons with the Trailblazers, Drexler returned home to play for the Houston Rockets alongside college teammate and NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwan. In his first season with the Rockets, Drexler helped lead the team to their second consecutive championship, the first of Drexlers career. Clyde The Glyde finished his NBA career averaging 20.4 ppg in both regular season and playoff games. As a guard, he is the career NBA leader for offensive rebounds with 2,615. In his 15 year career, Drexler was named to 10 All Star teams and has both an NBA Championship and an Olympic Gold medal.
