About Cleo Lemon

After a college career at Arkansas State with nearly 8,000 yards and 50 TDs, QB Cleo Lemon went undrafted in the 2002 NFL Draft but was picked up to be a member of the Baltimore Raven’s practice squad. After a 2003 on another practice squad, the San Diego Chargers made Lemon the 3rd string QB for the ’04 season and traded him to the Miami Dolphins in 2005. In the ’06 season, Lemon got his chances to play with injuries and poor play from those in front of him. In his three seasons on a NFL active roster, Lemon made 15 appearances including 8 starts, compiling over 2,000 yards and 8 TDs. In 2010 Lemon made the move to Canadian Football League where he led the Toronto Argonauts to the playoffs for the first time in 3 years. Lemon started the 2011 season with the Argonauts and was released when the team started just 2-6 with Lemon at the helm.
