Chris Owusu Biography

Chris Owusu is a wide receiver for the New York Jets.  Owusu was originally an undrafted free agent signing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He played the first two and a half seasons of his career in Tampa before being signed by the Jets during the 2014 season.  Despite several injuries in college, many saw potential in Owusu.  He ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash time at the 2012 NFL Combine, clocking in with a 4.36.  As a sophomore at Stanford, Owusu was a first-team All-Pac 10 pick and led the team in touchdown.  He was a big play target that year for Andrew Luck and had three touchdown grabs that were over 85 yards.  Owusu grew up in California and attended Oaks Christian High School.
