Chris Hogan was a standout lacrosse player at Penn State University until 2010 when he graduated and enrolled at Monmouth University where he began a football career. After one season with Monmouth as a wide receiver, Hogan entered the 2011 NFL Draft where he went undrafted but signed as a free agent to the San Francisco 49ers. Hogan spent his first 3 seasons as a member of the practice squad for the 49ers, the New York Giants, and the Miami Dolphins. While with Miami, Hogan made several appearances on HBO’s Hard Knocks where he was nicknamed as “7-Eleven” by fellow Dolphins players since he was “always open”. In 2012 Hogan was signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad but was promoted to the active roster later that year and in 2014 he caught his first career TD. He became a true standout when he joined the New England Patriots in 2016.
