About Chris Boswell
Chris Boswell is blossomed into becoming one of the best kickers in NFL history with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Boswell played college football at Rice University and ranks second in school history with 358 career points. He went undrafted but spent time in training camp and on the practice squad with the New York Giants and Houston Texans. Boswell was the fourth placekicker to start for the Steelers in 2015, but he has locked down the job ever since. He set rookie and first-year Pittsburgh records with 29 field goals made, 113 points in a season and a 90.6 field goal percentage. Boswell was the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month in December. That postseason, he made seven field goals, including four in an 18-16 AFC Wild Card round victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. A year later, Boswell hit six field goals to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 18-16 in the playoffs. He was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2017.
