About Chaz Ortiz
At the age of 6 in Chicago, Illinois, Chaz Ortiz begged his father for his skateboard and from there his whole life changed. He picked up the sport like a natural, winning the first Free Flow Tour he entered at the age of 13 for the Skate Park competition. Now at 20 years old, Ortiz has made a name for himself as one of the top skateboarders in the country. Ortiz is known for his smooth skating style, appearing to give no effort as he produces some spectacular runs. Ortiz had a standout 2012 season where he placed 3rd in the Street League championships before injuring his ankle before the 2013 season. After fully recovering, Ortiz is back and ready to go to claim his spot at the skateboarding world.
