About Champ Bailey
Champ Bailey broke into the NFL in 1999 with the Redskins, achieving his childhood dream of playing at football most elite level. As a first round pick out of the University of Georgia, the beginning of his career was surrounded with a lot of hype, and he lived up to it. After five years with the Redskins he signed with the Denver Broncos and began to put together what will no doubt be a Hall of Fame career.
Over the course of his 15 year career he posted 812 tackles to go along with 52 receptions and 7 forced fumbles resulting in him scoring 4 defensive touchdowns. He was a monster on the defensive side of the ball, and will always be remembered for his fearlessness on defense and selflessness as a teammate. The voters recognized his tenacious play in 2019 by selecting him for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
