About Ty Law
Ty Law first took national attention as a defensive back at the University of Michigan where he was a First Team All-American as well as a 2x All-Big Ten Conference selection. After compiling over 150 career tackles for the Wolverines, Law was selected 23rd overall in the 1995 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Law went on to spend the first 10 seasons of his career with the Patriots and is widely considered one of the franchises best defensive backs ever. He was a 5x Pro Bowler as well as a 2x All-Pro selection. Law was an iatrical member of the Patriots stout defense, leading the League in interceptions twice and frequently being charged with covering the opposing teams top receiver. He went on to win 3 Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX) with the Patriots before he was released due to salary cap issues in 2005. Law spent the final 5 seasons of his career with 3 different teams but will always be remembered for his time with the Patriots, who elected him into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2014. In 2019, he received the ultimate honor with induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
