Carlos Carrasco

Carlos Carrasco is a standout starting pitcher for the Atlanta Braves. He originally became a starter with the Cleveland Indians in 2015 and went 14-12 with a 3.63 ERA and 216 strikeouts in 183.2 innings. A year later, Carrasco lowered his ERA to 3.32 and the Indians reached the World Series. Cleveland again won the American League Central Division in 2017. He won a career-high 17 games and struck out over 200 batters again. Carrasco originally came up with the Indians in 2009, but did not become a full-time member of the big league roster until 2011. The Philadelphia Phillies originally signed him as an international free agent in 2003 and he was acquired by the Indians via trade in 2009. While with the Phillies, Carrasco was named to the All-Star Futures Game three times. He was also regarded as the top prospect in the organization in 2007 and 2008.
