About Bryant Young
Bryant Young was a key cog during a very successful period of San Francisco 49ers history. Young was selected by San Francisco out of Notre Dame with the seventh overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft and went on to play his entire 14-year career with the franchise. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro. Young won Super Bowl XXIX with the Niners. After a devastating leg injury that required a metal rod to be inserted, Young played so well he was named the 1999 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Young retired in 2007 and went into coaching for several years. He is a member of the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
