About Bruce Allen
Bruce Allen got his start as an executive in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders in 1996. He served as a senior executive in Oakland until being hired as the general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004. In 2008 the Washington Redskins hired him as their general manager. Since that time he has also become the President of the Redskins and shaped reshaped their franchise as a winner. Prior to making it big in the NFL he played college football as a punter at the University of Richmond and served as the head football coach at Occidental College. After coaching at Occidental he became a lead agent at Paradise Sports and represented several of the top names in the world of sports. As an executive in the NFL he has negotiated some of the largest contracts in history and made decisions that have forever shaped the league’s success.
