Brian Kenny Biography

Brian Kenny is a sportscaster and baseball analyst who currently works for the MLB Network. Kenny graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a BFA and he got his start in journalism with Long Island News Tonight. A few years later, Kenny landed a job at ESPN, where he anchored the 6:00 PM showing of the hit show SportsCenter along with hosting the Friday Night Fights segment. He has also been a host for Baseball Tonight and The Hot List, showing that Kenny was truly well rounded when it came to his skills and attributes at ESPN. Primarily a baseball analyst, Kenny hosted his own radio show up until leaving ESPN in 2011, jumping ship to the MLB Network, where he worked on the MLB Tonight program for the network. In 2013, Kenny returned to radio networks with NBC Sports Radio, hosting his own daily radio show along with his MLB Network duties.
