Brian Holloway Biography

Brian Holloway is a retired offensive lineman who played seven seasons in the league with the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Raiders. Holloway played collegiately at Stanford University, helping the Cardinal win two bowl games and earning First-team All-Pac 10 honors in 1980. Following his graduation, Holloway was selected in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, eventually becoming a full time starter in 1983. Holloway would make three Pro Bowls in his seven year career, earning three in a row from 1983 to 1985, becoming one of the most dominating offensive tackles during his time. In 1987, Holloway left the Patriots to play for the Los Angeles Rams, and would do so for two seasons, as he eventually retired in 1988 after being replaced and not starting a game.
