About Brad Nortman
Brad Northman joined the Carolina Panthers as a sixth round pick in 2012 out of the University of Wisconsin. Northman is a Wisconsin native and chose to play for his home state Badgers after a standout prep career in which he earned all-state honors as a punter and first-team All Greater Metro Conference honors as a linebacker. He also played tight end and earned Greater Metro Conference co-defensive back of the year honors as a senior in route to being named the No. 4 high school punter in the country. During his career at Wisconsin he earned All-Big Ten honors in three consecutive seasons and also earned Academic All-District and Academic All-Big Ten honors in the classroom. The Panthers selected Northman with the 207th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. During his first three seasons he registered 200 punts for 9,100 punt yards, for an average of 45.5 yards per punt.
