About Brad Holmes
Brad Holmes is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Detroit Lions, appointed on January 14, 2021. Since taking over this role, Holmes has played a major role in turning the franchise into a serious contender. In 2024, they won 15 games and won consecutive division titles for the first time in many years. Prior to this role, he spent 18 years with the Rams where he was director of college scouting. He played a role in drafting guys like Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp.
A Tampa, Florida native, Holmes played defensive tackle at North Carolina A&T, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications. His leadership and strategic vision have earned him back-to-back PFWA Executive of the Year honors in 2023 and 2024.
