About Bobby Hurley
Bobby Hurley joined the Sacramento Kings as a first round draft pick in 1993 after a standout college career at Duke University. During his college career he led the Blue Devils to back-to-back NCAA National Championships in 1991 and 1992, and went on to earn Consensus first-team All-American honors in 1993. After being selected with the 7th overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft he joined the Kings and enjoyed a successful six-year career in Sacramento, retiring with the Grizzlies in 1999 with 1,032 career points. After his retirement he took a brief hiatus from the game before returning as an assistant coach at Wagner College in 2010. After two years as an assistant at Wagner he joined Rhode Island University’s coaching staff as an associate head coach before being hired as the head coach at Buffalo in 2013. In his first season at Buffalo he led the Bulls to a Mid-American Conference championship with a 19-10 overall record.
