About Ben Ogden
Ben Ogden is an Olympic cross-country skier, celebrated for ending a 50-year U.S. men's medal drought in the sport. At the University of Vermont, he won several NCAA titles and debuted at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, where he rose to prominence, earning the 2023 U23 World Cup Green Bib as the top under-23 skier. He claimed junior relay medals (silver in 2018, gold in 2019) at the FIS Junior Worlds. At the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, Ogden delivered history by winning silver in the men's classic sprint, finishing just behind Norway's Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, becoming only the second American man ever to medal in Olympic cross-country skiing after Bill Koch's 1976 silver. Ogden also contributed to the U.S. men's 4×7.5 km relay (6th place) and maintains top-10 World Cup sprint rankings with multiple podiums.
