Athing Mu Biography

Athing Mu turned in a performance that turned heads in the track and field world during the Tokyo Olympics. As a 19-year-old, she set a new American record and won the 800 meters. Her victory broke a 53-year old gold medal drought for Team USA in the event.  While at Texas A&M, Mu has also set college records in the 800 m and 4x400 m relay. She was recognized with four All-American honors during her freshman year with the Aggies.
