About Ashley Caldwell
Ashley Caldwell is an American skier who has competed in four Olympics, winning gold in the mixed aerials event in Beijing in 2022. Caldwell was the youngest participant in Aerials at the 2010 Games and reached the event finals, finishing tenth.She notched tenth place again in 2014 and became the first U.S. woman to perform a full, full, full.The 2014 U.S. National Champion was a silver medalist at Nationals in 2010 and 2011. She has three medals from the World Championships as well. In her rookie season, Caldwell had three top 15 finishes on the World Cup circuit and won FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year honors.The following year, she would make the World Cup podium twice and grab victory at Lake Placid. Caldwell had only been training for three years prior to her inclusion onto the 2010 Olympic team.Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast in Virginia for 11 years.She graduated with a degree in finance from SUNY Empire State in 2013.
