About Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis has had a successful career as a right tackle for the San Francisco 49ers. In his first four seasons in the NFL, Davis started all 16 games each year and been a key cog for the Niners during one of their best stretches in franchise history. He has helped pave the way for four 1,000 yard seasons for Frank Gore while protecting Colin Kaepernick as he has grown as an NFL quarterback. Throughout his career, Davis has gotten respect as one of the better linemen in the league. Peter King named him to his first-team All-Pro squad in 2012. Davis has also earned the respect of his teammates and won the franchise’s Bobb McKittrick Award as the offensive lineman who best exemplifies courage, intensity, and sacrifice. San Francisco originally too him with the 11th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Rutgers. While with the Scarlet Knights, he earned several All-American and All-Big East honors. Ironically, Davis is also a native of Piscataway, New Jersey where the Rutgers campus is.
