About Alfred Morris
Alfred Morris is a former NFL running back who defied the odds to craft a successful nine-year career. After being a sixth-round pick and buried on the Washington depth chart, Morris had a banner rookie season in 2012, rushing for 1,613 yards and 13 touchdowns. He set the Washington single-season record for rushing yards and his numbers helped the team lead the league in rushing.
That was the first of three straight 1,000-yard campaigns in Washington for Morris. He was also named a Pro Bowler in 2013 and 2014. Morris played for four other franchises, but never had the success he initially experienced in the pros.
While in college at FAU, Morris was also a standout, becoming the school’s all-time leading rusher, with over 3,500 yards on the ground and 27 touchdowns. He is originally from Pensacola, Florida, and was a three-sport star at Pine Forest High School.
