WWE Announcer Mauro Ranallo Speaks at Odd Squad Xmas Party

WWE announcer Mauro Ranallo recently went home for a special speaking engagement. The Abbotsford, British Columbia native was nearby in Vancouver to speak at the Odd Squad XMas Party. 

The event was held on December 1st from 5:30-9 p.m. at The Imperial Theatre. The Odd Squad was started by active and former police officers to educate youth about the dangers involved with gangs and drug abuse. 

Ranallo talked about his battle with bipolar disorder with those in attendance. He was asked to speak by his brother Romolo, who is a member of the Vancouver Police Department. 

Last year, World Wrestling Entertainment brought Ranallo aboard to serve as the play-by-play voice of their SmackDown brand and 2015 Live. He brought the show into a new era as SmackDown joined USA Network. 

Ranallo is also well-known for his broadcasting work in boxing and mixed martial arts. On the MMA side, he has served as the voice of Pride Fighting Championships, Elite XC and Strikeforce. 

Ranallo continues to do work for Showtime. He callss Showtime Championship Boxing, Glory Kickboxing and the Invicta Fighting Championships for the network.
