Three-Time American League MVP Alex Rodriguez Becomes Brand Ambassador for JBL

The odds that all-time baseball great Alex Rodriguez would still be playing at the age of 40 were slim.  Not only is he still in a major league lineup, but he is coming off a year where he anchored the New York Yankees lineup.

Rodriguez also continues to pick up endorsement deals.  He has signed an agreement with Harman International Industries to be a brand ambassador for their JBL audio brand.

As part of his deal, Rodriguez will be involved in marketing campaigns, particularly on social media channels.  The pact makes sense seeing that JBL has had a lengthy partnership with the Yankees.

With 692 home runs and counting, Rodriguez is already considered one of the best hitters in the history of the game.  He ranks fourth all-time in homers, fourth in RBI and eighth in runs.

Rodriguez is a three-time American League MVP and 14-time All-Star.  He won a World Series with New York in 2009 and was voted MVP of that postseason.

The Seattle Mariners originally made Rodriguez the top overall pick of the 1993 MLB Draft.  He made his major league debut just a year later at the age of 18 and started out on his illustrious career.
