San Francisco Giants Manager Bruce Bochy Speaks at Bobby Dolan Baseball Dinner in January

The Bobby Dolan Baseball Dinner brings in some of the sport's biggest names annually. This year, San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy is the featured speaker. 

The event serves as a fundraiser for the University of Nevada baseball program. This particular edition takes place on January 18th at the Reno Ballroom. 

Bochy will be joined on stage by bestselling author Kevin Freidberg. Individual tickets are $200 and tables of ten are $2000, but there are special VIP and early bird packages available. 

Bochy has led the Giants to World Series championships in 2010, 2012 and 2014. He leads all active managers and ranks 15th in baseball history with 1,853 wins. 

Bochy previously managed the San Diego Padres from 1995-2006. He was the National League Manager of the Year in 1996 and led the Padres to the World Series in 1998. 

Bochy had a nine-year major league playing career and was part of the Padres team that went to the World Series in 1984. He started his coaching career managing in San Diego's minor league system.
