San Diego Chargers Hall of Famer Rolf Benirschke Named Keynote Speaker at NCPDP Conference

Former San Diego Chargers Rolf Benirschke has an extensive background in the healthcare industry.  While he gives speeches all across the country, Benirschke is uniquelly qualified for his next keynote.  

He will speak at the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Annual Technology and Business Conference.  The conference runs May 2-4 at the Weston Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Benirschke will speak on the final day of the conference from 12-2:30 p.m. and hold a meet and greet for an hour following the presentation.  Early bird registration for members is $975 and non-members can also get into the conference for $1,695.

Benirschke's father was a pathologist at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.  He has been involved in the medical industry in one way or another since being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis early in his pro football career.

Legacy Health Strategies was a company Benirschke founded in 2009 to help pharmaceutical and medical device companies develop patient support programs.  He is also a spokesperson for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of American and Hepatitis C awareness.  

Bernischke retired from the NFL in 1987 as the NFL's third-most accurate kicker and the all-time Chargers points leader.  He was inducted into the team's Hall of Fame in 1997 and has been named to their 40th and 50th anniversary teams.
