Olympic Track Standout Allyson Felix Speaks at Texas Church Service Sunday

Olympic track star Allyson Felix will talk about her faith on Sunday.  She is the featured speaker in Wichita Falls, Texas at First Baptist Church. 

She will talk during the 8:15, 9:30 and 11 a.m. services.  There will be video feeds of her presentation shown at First Baptist's three other satellite churches. 

Felix has a strong Christian background and is the daugther of an ordained minister.  She will discuss her trust in God and how her faith, not athletic prowess, defines her. 

Certainly, mainly associate the U.S. excellence on the track with Felix.  She is a nine-time Olympic medalist and the most decorated female in U.S. history.  

This past summer, Felix won two relay gold medals and an individual silver in Rio.  She is a nine-time World Champion and has a total of 13 medals from events at Worlds.  

Felix is an ambassador for Right to Play and Play Works.  She is also a member of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
