New Hall of Famer Champ Bailey to Keynote Denver Boy Scouts Breakfast

Denver sports fans are going to be excited to see one of their own and a newly minted member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month. Champ Bailey is the keynote speaker for the 43rd Annual Denver Area Council Boy Scouts of America Breakfast.

The event takes place on Tuesday, April 9 from 7-9 a.m. at the Pepsi Center. There should be a packed house to hear Bailey's inspirational message, which will specifically share points of encouragement for young people.

The Broncos other 2019 Hall inductee, team owner Pat Bowlen, will be honored at the breakfast with the Denver Area Council Lifetime Achievement Award. All proceeds raised go towards council programs.

Bailey was a stalwart in Denver, playing ten of his 15 NFL seasons with the Broncos. He recorded 52 interceptions in his career and a league recorded 203 pass defenses.

Bailey holds a high mark for defensive backs with 12 Pro Bowl selections. He was a seven-time All-Pro as well that was named to the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s.

Bailey led the league in interceptions in 2006. He is a member of the Broncos 50th Anniversary Team and made an appearance with them in Super Bowl XLVIII.
