NASCAR Legend Mark Martin Speaks at Speedway Children's Charities Dinner

On April 20th, NASCAR great Mark Martin returned to Bristol, Tennessee for the first time since 2013. He spoke at the Speedway Children's Charities Legends of NASCAR Dinner. 

Martin shared some of the top moments of his career he had at Bristol Motor Speedway. He spoke about the various changes to the track at BMS as well. 

Martin talked about some of his thoughts on the state of NASCAR. While he makes various appearances throughout the year, he stressed the importance of attending an event that benefits Speedway Children's Charities. 

On five occasions, Martin finished as runner-up in the Sprint Cup Series standings. He ranks second all-time with 49 Nationwide Series victories. 

Martin's NASCAR career spanned 31 years and he captured 40 Cup Series wins. He has a record five International Race of Champions championships and an IROC-best 13 wins. 

After racing for several teams over his initial Cup Series seasons, Martin started out on a long partnership with Roush Racing in 1988. He is a member of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America and the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
