Metta World Peace to Make Appearance at LA Fit Expo

Metta World Peace will be meeting with fans and signing autographs at the 2015 LA Fit Expo on Sunday, February 8, 2015.  During the event he will be appearing at the VYB-X Booth #1836 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., and will also be promoting the brand's products, which are programmed to resonate with your body's own natural frequency, providing a stronger signal to help you function more efficiently.

The 12th Annual Los Angeles Fit Expo will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on February 7-8, 2015.  The event, which sponsored by Subway, will feature 24 competitions and programs plus a giant exhibit floor with over 600 booths.  Everything at the event is included for one low price of $25.

Metta World Peace began playing for the Sichuan Blue Whales in China after spring 14 seasons in the NBA.  Formerly known as Ron Artest, he changed his name to Metta World Peace in 2011.  "Changing my name was meant to inspire and bring youth together all around the world," he said.  He has also pursued a music career in addition to being a rapper and NBA star.  In 2010 he helped the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Championship, and in 2011 he was awarded the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, given to the NBA player, coach, or trainer who shows "outstanding service and dedication to the community."
