Hockey Great Teemu Selanne Keynotes Rady Jewish Community Centre Sports Dinner in May

There is no denying Teemu Selanne's status as a hockey legend. This May, he will return to one of the places where he built an iconic NHL career.

Selanne will be in Winnipeg for The 45th Annual Rady Jewish Community Centre's "Y" Sports Dinner. He is serving as keynote speaker for the event that takes place on May 10th.

Several ticket options are currently available, including a gold VIP option that includes a meet and greet with Selanne. In addition to hearing Selanne speak, attendees will see several awards handed out like Jewish Athlete of the Year.

Over a 21-year NHL career, Selanne was a ten-time All-Star. He is the all-time leading scorer among Finnish players and currently ranks 15th in league history with 1,457 points.

The Winnipeg Jets originally selected Selanne with the tenth overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He went on to set franchise single-season records for goals and points.

Selanne also left and indelible impact on the Anaheim Ducks franchise. He holds several team records, won a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007 and has his number eight jersey retired at the Honda Center.
